What is GMC, CSS, and how does it interact with Sembot?
Comparison Shopping Services (CSS) is a service that allows users to compare prices and features of products or services from various sellers. The goal of CSS is to help consumers make informed purchasing decisions by providing detailed information about products or services from multiple suppliers.
Examples of price comparison services include websites such as sembot.eu, pricegrabber.com, shopping.com, and kelkoo.com, as well as software such as Google Shopping and Bing Shopping. These platforms allow users to search for products and compare prices from different sellers, allowing them to find the best deal.
Google Merchant Center (GMC) is a platform that allows online sellers to submit information about their products and make them available in Google search and other Google-owned platforms. The channels provide information such as product title, description, image, price, and availability. The platform enables sellers to manage product data, track performance, diagnose and resolve issues. The seller can also use the platform to create and manage product files that provide information about the products.
Sembot is a tool that supports the work of the GMC account, CSS, and Google Ads. It significantly facilitates and speeds up the optimization of the product feed generated by the store. The optimized output file generated by Sembot is added to the GMC account. After integration with Google Ads, we can efficiently generate a campaign, which we then activate on the Google Ads account. Additionally, the tool allows us to add products to the CSS comparison website.
