What is a price tracking?

Price tracking is a solution that enables tracking and analyzing the prices of products in your store and those of your competitors. It provides access to information about the pricing position of your products in the market. This data is collected based on GTIN codes and product titles and stored in the system, allowing for visualization on charts.

How to use price tracking data in campaigns?

Price tracking results can be a valuable tool for optimizing advertising campaigns and increasing their efficiency.

  • Automated rules for campaign optimization: You can set automated rules that assign a custom label to products with, for example, the lowest prices on the market. In industries where price is a key factor, this approach allows you to promote only those products that offer the best price. These products can also be moved to campaigns with a larger budget, increasing their visibility and potential conversions.

  • Dynamic product assignment: Regular updates from the price tracking allow you to track how your product prices compare to competitors. Based on this data, the system dynamically assigns products according to the set rules.

Practical use of price tracking data

1. Activate the price tracking. After selecting products and adding them to the system, their price data will appear the

2. Go to the "Your Products" tab and click the "Column Settings" button. Select attributes related to price tracking results to get a complete view of the data for each product.

3. Apply product filtering, for example, based on the "Price Position" attribute. Filter products with a price position of 2 or less. This way, the system will show products in positions 1 and 2, meaning those with the lowest prices compared to competitors.

4. Apply a rule to the filtered products, such as assigning them a custom label 0. Then, create an advertising campaign and filter it by the products with this label. This allows you to focus on promoting the products with the most competitive prices.
